South Puget Sound Community College has chosen its new president.
Timothy Stokes will start his duties on Feb. 1, replacing Gerald Pumphrey, who will retire after more than six years at the college.
Stokes comes to SPSCC from Tacoma Community College, where he served as executive vice president for Academic and Student Affairs.
“The college has a great future, and I’m excited to be part of this community and to begin the work of moving the college forward together,” Stokes said.
